The Meeting Point is Midgard Base Camp in Hvolsvollur. Midgard Base Camp, Dufþaksbraut 14, Hvolsvöllur. An approx 1.5 hour drive from Reykjavik. Please show up no later than 15 minutes before departure.

Please note
Season is Summer (Middle of June – September). We do not operate this tour from April 1st to June 20th due to massive snow melting and overflowing of glacial rivers in the highlands. From October to March this tour is only bookable as a private tour.
Duration is 8-9 hours.
Minimum age is 5 years old.
There is a minimum of 4 participants to be on the tour for it to operate. If the tour does not meet the minimum you will be contacted to make sure everything is done to make it happen. Maximum size is 14 people.
Wear comfortable clothing, hiking shoes, and warm clothes according to this area’s weather forecast! We recommend bringing swimwear.
Cancellation policy
We understand changes happen, so we offer a no-questions asked 100% free cancellation, if booking is cancelled 24 hours or less local Icelandic time prior to event. After that, the booking is non refundable.
