We kindly ask you to be at the meeting point on time. Please make sure to arrive at least 15 min before the scheduled departure time. Late arrivals unfortunately will miss out on their reservation and it will result in the cancellation of your booking and a full forfeiture of your booking fee.

What do I need to bring?
Base layer (synthetic or wool).
Mid-layers (fleece or thick wool, with an additional layer for colder days).
Waterproof breathable jacket and pants (e.g., Gore-Tex).
Thermal headwear, gloves, and wool or synthetic socks.
Sturdy hiking boots with ankle support (mandatory).
Small backpack for essentials (camera, rain gear, etc.).
Note: Jeans and regular shoes are not suitable for this tour.

Minimum requirement: 4 person minimum passenger requirement for this tour to operate. Fewer people can book this tour and we will do our best to combine your with other bookings.
Level: this tour is classified as easy to moderate, as this terrain is untouched all participants need to be in fair hiking conditions, we want to emphasize the importance of having a good sense of balance, as the terrain can be uneven in certain areas.
There is a 12 year old age limit on the standard tour, exceptions can be made for private tours. For more information please get in touch with us.
We strongly recommend participants to go over our list of equipment and be well prepared for the tour. If participants are not adequately prepared or dressed according to the weather conditions, Iceguide and Atlantsflug reserves the right to refuse them to participate in the tour to ensure safety.
Helicopter landings are only done when deemed safe by our pilots.
From time to time the ice caves change. They can even change within the season. For this reason it´s good not to expect to see them exactly as they are on the pictures. Many circumstances can be different, like for example the weather, the light or their size, which can change the whole picture. However, they are always beautiful and unique just the way they are!
