A Dog Sledding adventure with Icelandic Husky dogs!

Your real Icelandic adventure begins with a husky dog ride. Feel the power, excitement, and energy of our amazing sled dogs as they are harnessed to go.Travel through magnificent winter landscape accompanied by the sled dogs.
During the ride your Musher guide will drive your team while sharing his knowledge and passion about dogsledding. Half-way through the tour we take a photo break where you can cuddle with the dogs (belly-rub mandatory).
A dog ride is a must do for all visitors to the "Land of Ice and Fire” a memorable moment to share with your family and beloved one.
In case of lack of snow/ ice, to operate with a sled your trip will be cancelled and you will receive a 100% refund (minus the Sled guaranteed insurance 3000 isk per person)

Meeting Point
This activity is located in Mosfellsdalur, a 30 minute drive away from Reykjavík.
You will receive an email with the exact tour location the evening before your tour, or a few days at best. Make sure to check your spam folder.
What's included?
35-45 minutes guided ride.
Pictures and petting time.
Meeting a bunch of cute sled dogs.
Warm waterproof overalls, gloves and goggles if needed.
Sled guaranteed insurance (3000 ISK per person).

Transportation (4x4 recommended).

Each sled takes up to 4/ 5 participants (Private tour available upon request)
Not suitable during pregnancy
Participants must be at least 6 years old
Weight limit of 95 kg per person and BMI below 30
Contact us prior booking ( with age, height and weight of each participant) if your group does not fit those requirements, there can be room for exceptions.
Duration of the tour is 1.5 hours.
Your tour will be confirmed the day before.
