6. Important to Note:

  • Remember to pay the Thingvellir National Park fee and the entrance fee to Kerid Crater. You can download the Parka App, or pay on location.

  • You should be able to drive the entire Golden Circle with your electric vehicle at full charge. There are a couple of gas stations where you can fill up as well for your standard vehicles.

  • You do not need a 4x4 to access the Golden Circle. However, during the winter, it is best practice to always drive with a 4x4.

  • During the winter give yourself extra driving time especially if you have any meet on location tours that require you to be there at a certain time.
